ENJOY!
I agree the price for these cookies seems steep and I wouldn't buy them. I have spend a ridiculous amout of money, however, on other things. I remember when Smashbox first came on the Q many years ago and felt guilty for buying a tiny pot of their eyeliner for $40 at the time. My friends thought I was crazy!

It seems a logical question to me. (For instance, I might not spend $200 on a handbag or a pair of shoes, but I wouldn't consider someone who did a fool.)
And calling others a "fool" seems snarky to me, if not downright rude.
@Venezia - Yes, calling a fellow poster a fool for what he/she purchases is downright rude.

It's what makes the world such an interesting place, especially the online world! We're all different with different tastes and have different $$ to spend on things that mean something special to us whether it is a coat, cosmetics, jewelry, or a cookie. I'm sure I have bought things that others would think foolish . . . just ask my husband!

@Tori3569 --yes there is a crumbl store near us and the cookies are horrilbe!!! DD got a gift card from her boss---she threw it away as she couldn't even give it away--think it was a $25 one too. Sorry--just can't/won' pay that much for one cookie!!

We all spend our money as we see fit. It's no one else's business. Leave the judgement at the door.
I haven't ordered these cookies (I know local gourmet cookies/baked goods can easily cost that), but I have ordered other food items from the Q and I'm certainly not a fool.
Care to share some of the non-essential things you spend your money on?
Happy to share my latest non-essential purchase. Ordered 6 winter coats, 3 in boy sizes, and 3 in girls sizes. I'll be taking them to a donation site in the Denver area to give to kids who don't have any. Have a great day.

@brandiwine - I'm sure many of us on here also donate to charitable causes. I suppose you could call that non-essential, but I wouldn't. I call it helping my neighbors (known or unknown).
I'd call non-essential something a person splurges on for him/herself, just because it makes that person happy. It doesn't mean they can't or don't also help out others along the way. We also have a coat drive here, as well as a toy drive, a food drive - the list goes on.
I'm sure the children in Denver will appreciate your act of kindness. You have a good day, too.

I don't understand how a simple opinion descends into calling fool, asking what you spend your money on. State an opinion and woe to you.
Buy the cookie, don't buy it, too much $ whatever. This message board is getting too weird.

@MoJoV - Discussions take place on message boards. It's not just giving an opinion and that's the end. It branches out and people participate in coversations. I don't find anything weird about it at all.
I do find calling fellow posters a fool for purchasing something mean. That's my opinion.
