Lunchtime Specials

[ Edited ]

I have noticed lately that there are many lunchtime specials offered that are not on sale at all or just a few dollars off. Why are they special without a special price?  Many are Kim Gravel clothing.

QVC still thinks many are into  impulse buying

" first look items "

I used  to look at LTS on a regular basis.  Haven't done so in a long time.  Just checked now.  Those prices are what the items should have been originally.  To call most of them "special" is laughable.

Lunch time Specials use to be a great opportunity to get some nice things at a much lower price. Now it is a joke.

The price is just a few dollars lower in many cases from the original price....not special at all.

Not sure Kim has more there than the other lines. Sometimes it's a ton of Isaac, and other times a ton of Logo, or Graver.

The Q use to be a great place to shop, and can I say a fun place to shop...no longer.

@Catch71 I agree that the prices are no longer as great as they once were. However, I find the LTS and PTS gear towards the brands of the week. If there is a LOGO TSV that week I will find plenty of LOGO as LTS or PTS. Same with all brands like Valerie, Women With Control, Isaac, etc.

Like @bellaartiste and @kaydee50 , I once loved shopping the LTS's. They really were great buys. I would look forward to the hour they would be posted and immediately check. I got some awesome deals.

The price IS a sale as most now are within the 30% off range. But, a few years ago they would be 50-60% off. Don't get me wrong, 30% is still a pretty good discount but with prices so high I am not inspired to check them daily as I once did. Now, when there is free shipping I definitely check the LTS because that gives me a better savings.

@kaydee50 I agree.  I used to check almost everyday, and then I just stopped for some unknown reason.  Now when I check and see the prices, I have to double check to make sure I am on the right pages.  There is nothing special about those prices.  The only decent deals that I have found are "as is" items, but more often than not, they are not offered in my size.

Aren't Luncheon Specials one of the categories that are exempt from using discount codes? So I guess they are special.

I remember when LTS were at a truely great price. Now the LTS price is at the price they came in at after being uped to a QVC price then lowered to LTS price.

@bellaartiste  I was going to say the same thing. I've purchased many items during the Lunchtime Specials. Now they're only a few dollars off....and often things I wouldn't wear. Back in the day, a lunchtime special was special!

I used to ck everyday. I have purchased many items at great prices. That is a thing of the past. Just isn't fun anymore.
