Today at 1 ET is the debut of the Lug x Mary DeAngelis Collection, featuring three new patterns based on Mary's mom's quilts and interior details that include sketches from Mary's dad. The designs will be available across multiple bag styles. I'm very interested to see how everything turned out! If you want more info from Mary about this project, she posted the image below and an introductory video on her Facebook page this morning.

I like Mary but those are some of the ugliest patterns and LUG bags I have seen.

I carry Lug almost exclusively,  but I don't like these patterns at all. A big No.

I hate to admit I agree. 
But then, I am not a big fan of southwestern style.

Sometimes I have to wonder about the why of Ami Richter's choices?

This is very flattering to Mary D (who I love) and it's so nice that she gets to honor her mom!

I’m sure her mom and dad are great people because Mary is such a great person...my opinion.

I have requested certain design elements from Lug that  I would like to see , buy and use.  Then, my request (which I must say seems to be "of the moment" will appear about one year later...

by then I have already spent my allotted dollars for bags!

The new skeeter bridge suits my phone carry needs perfectly!

There is space in the "bridge" part for all my necessary essentials in the form of mini-makeup correctors!

These bags do not appeal to me at all.  Did we really need Mary and her folks ramble on about her childhood?  I'm sure they are really nice people.

I just posted in the handbags section how I loved these bags when Mary presented them and how sweet it was that these designs were base on Mary’s moms quilts and the doodles on the inside of the purses are the actual ones her dad did, like the mouse. I ended up buying a crossbody in grey and the wallet in blue. I think it’s a good collection, imo.
