Looks like CinemaScope on QVC2

Why is this screen wide and narrow?  It makes everyone look too wide.

I have Verizon FIOs and QVC2 is not in HD.  I hit the # sign on the remote to make it look a tad better.

@Nicecupoftea, that is why I do not watch QVC2.  Difficult to even look at.  @Krimpette, thanks for the suggestion about the # sign.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

If you still have the remote to the TV, you can select a different picture size.  Everything will be in the correct scale but the overall picture will be smaller (more like a square).  HTH.

Just click onto the 'Zoom' button on your remote control.  Each time you click, it will make the screen picture Wide, Normal, Auto, Cinema, or 'Zoom'.  'Zoom' makes the hosts and models look the skinny-est.  'Wide' makes them look very wide (heavier), etc., etc.   Give it a try, and then you can choose how you want them to look, size-wise. 

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
