I mentioned on the other thread regarding live chat.  It often doesn't work for me.  Sometimes it does but most of the time it doesn't.  Maybe because they don't have anyone to man it?  Anyway, I usually give up and call customer service regarding any issue.

I can't get it to work either.  What it tells me is that they are fine taking my money and want to make it harder to resolve issues.  I have pulled back a lot on the shopping I do with QVC.   Their prices are ridiculous, and I need to start supporting stores (jobs) in my local community.

I just found out today that QVC is aware of Live Chat not working and they are trying to fix it but the problems is that it's been YEARS and that is what they claim to be doing but they never do.

 

I am a computer software engineer and this is a simple fix if you know what you are doing that will take all of 5 minutes to fix. So either they have incompetent people working on their IT department or for some unknown reason they don't want to offer Live Chat and that is disappointing because there are Deaf people who rely on it and have no other means but to talk on Live Chat.

 

For a company that prides itself on offering goods & services for the disability, it seems the most important one is lacking.

 

Furthermore, I just spoke to two CS agents on phone and the first had her dogs & kids barking so loudly that I couldn't hear her at all, and the 2nd had her husband or whoever sitting next to her talking on the phone so loudly that I had to hang up in frustration. Seems QVC CS are now all working remotely and that concerns me because the agent who had her husband next to her was going through my payment info. I don't want their family or whoever viewing my personal info. I don't know these people from squat and this is not what I signed up for. Identity theft is real and QVC seems to not be taking precautions at all. That's scary.

 

I guess, this is where I now part ways with QVC as this is not the QVC I have known for so many years.
