YES life is good...It's the sad circumstances we all find ourselves in at times that isn't & the only people who leave this earth without heartbreak are those that aren't capable of love. I'm sorry for your loss & wish you peace but to call these men unfeeling & ridiculous just isn't right.

So sorry for your lose.I was interested in the hype around these men and their fashion line until they revealed that they indeed are not the average Joe. They just took time off after college to travel around and find out what they wanted to do with their lives. Please, most young men have to find a job asap so they can pay off their student loans. These guys, just like the rest of us have jumped on this FEEL GOOD band wagon, because everything else is going in the toilet. I think they are a flash in the pan and I for one will not support their line.

@libbyannE wrote:I feel for your profound losses. But I don’t understand your reference to a clothing line and also your header, which says that a “lie is good.” Huh?
It's a typo.
I'm sure that she ment it to say, LiFe Is Good".

This company is just new to QVC, it's been around since 1994. So, not a flash in pan. As was stated upthread, the company donates proceeds to help children who have experience early childhood trauma. No they're not Average Joes.
To the OP, sorry for losses. Life can be pretty good.

This company is no flash in the pan. It was founded by brothers Bert and John Jacobs in 1994. Their products are sold in 4500 retail stores in the US, and in 30 countries. They donate 10% of their profits to their children’s foundation. An American success story!
That said, none of us get to a certain age without experiencing loss of loved ones. Between November and May of this last year, I lost 4 members of my family, including my husband. At no time, did I feel resentment that others were experiencing good feelings. Not sure that’s the reason the OP started this post? She hasn’t come back to clarify.

@qbetzforreal Looks like we were posting at the same time! I dislike seeing someone disparage a company unfairly, so I did a bit of research.

For five years, Bert and John Jacobs traveled the East Coast, hawking tees at street fairs and selling door-to-door in college dorms. They lived on peanut butter & jelly, slept in their van, and showered when they could. By August of 1994, with a combined sum of $78 in the bank, the brothers were close to giving up. It was then that they embarked on the ultimate road trip, and created Jake, a superhero whose positive disposition would show them the way.
Today, Life is good® spreads the power of optimism and helps kids in need by donating 10% of its net profits to The Life is good Kids Foundation. The company with a positive purpose has raised over $9 million for kids in need to date, principally through the annual Life is good Festival, Life is good products, and various fundraising efforts.

I'm sorry for the despair among so many. Great advice has been given here. I love your collective wisdom. As a young woman I read Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities - Excerpts -- It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness. It was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair…Contrasts and comparisons in life. It's futile to compare / constrast our season to someone else's season. It will only bring heartache and frustration.
Please see a grief counselor and get familiar with the stages of grief. It won't change your circumstances but it will change you. Blessings to you.
