I once had a "fade" haircut. The entire back was shaved close and the top had some long bangs.

Well-meaning people thought I must have disease but it was just a fun thing to do at the time.

I thought it was Rue Paul until I recognized his voice. No hair and thin as a rail, but he looks healthy. Hope he's well.

I thought so too. Maybe he was loosing his hair and decided to shave it so as not to see it thinning. Some men do that.

My nieces twin boys are in their 30s and shave their heads.  They shared their father's hairline which receded very early & felt rather than seeing bald spots or doing a comb over, they shaved their heads.  They are very good looking and both married beautiful women.  It's just preference.  They convinced their Dad to shave his head as well & he does.

@Tori3569  I'm not on FB, but I, also think that this is not a good look for him. Some men carry the bald look very, very well, but not Liam, IMO.

@Stray - One of our nephews did this too. I remember when we were visiting. I was in the family room with him, his dad, and two of his uncles on his dad's side. He was a young teenager at the time. He looked around at the balding or already bald, slightly overweight men sitting there, looked at me, and with a grin said, "Is this my future?" LOL! I had always heard male patterned baldness was from the mother's side. DH's dad wasn't bald, but his maternal grandfather was. This nephew is now in his mid 30's with two children. He's always been good looking. He started shaving his head when he was around 25, and he really pays attention to diet and fitness.   Smiley Happy

Not a good look in my opinion. It ages him a lot. Normally, I would describe him as good looking but the shaved head detracts from his appearance. What makes him most attractive, though, is his sense of humor and affable personality.

I have never thought he was a good looking man but I liked his personality and accent.  Yesterday with the big clunky glasses, shaved head and tight skinny jeans etc., I did not recognize him until he started talking and I saw the shoes on the table. I thought he looked awful.
