Let us know a review isn't needed

After spending 5 to 10 minutes writing a review, only to be told it is sold out, I'm wondering if it would be a simple thing to cue the poster that a review isn't needed and you are wasting your time.

That would be the decent thing to do.

But even in the situation you describe, wouldn't your review be saved and show up when the item is in stock again?

The problem is sometimes QVC changes the item number and the old reviews dont show up....

Re: Let us know a review isn't needed

Some vendors do read their reviews and would think even if the product sold out.  This is important information they need to know regarding design changes, adding options, colors, etc.

Gary and Valerie said they read our reviews.  Louis Dell'Olio said reviews helped QVC decide to reorder something or not.

So despite customers not being able to read your review, it is still available to the vendor.
