Re: Leah...just an observation

@paixmcdao .........I totally agree.  Weight gain especially when we get older could possibly caused by medication.

I can attest to that - The medication I take contains steroids, and I've gained an extra 20 lbs. that I'd love to shed one day. Smiley Frustrated

If you all love Leah like you say, leave her body alone. Just plain gossip.

Re: Leah...just an observation

I don't think that's stuttering. She seems to stumble and bubble around about the product she's presenting, as if she is not prepared or doesn't have the information needed for that item. She has been this way for some time now, which is why I don't watch the show as much as I used to.The show starts with mindless information about the cocktail of the day, etc., etc. I think they all get bored presenting the same thing time and time again... I know I certainly got tired of watching it.

Regarding Leah's weight I was really surprised to see that someone mentioned it.  I really feel for her, knowing how difficult it is to keep the lost weight lost.   It's a constant battle and the negative feelings one has for themselves when the weight is coming back on and it almost always does,  is overwhelming and sometimes it is all you can think of.  They say that only 5% of people who lose weight can keep it off long term.   And I believe that.  So, to say she needs to lose weight is ignorant.  You don't know what her particular circumstances are and maybe will never have to experience what she has and is experiencing.  It's very difficult to be out there on such a big stage and have the shopping public ciriticize you for a very personal struggle.   Celebrate her for what she was able to do and celebrate her for who she is and how beautiful she looks every day, overweight or not.

I'm not surprised at all. Body Shaming is very popular on this forum, as are mental health evaluations done by looking at someone on a shopping channel.

It's just unbelievable isn't it? Perhaps the posters who do this are in need of such evaluations. Must be nice to be so perfect and superior.

This thread is awful, seems to me if these same things are said about other hosts it's shut down or comments are deleted as unkind to host.

Me too!  I was just watching her this morning.  I think she has a pleasant personality and goes over important details.
