I don't pay that much attention to the hosts programming.  I know I can't follow her presentations and I usually won't watch her.  She seems to be having trouble getting out clear sentences.  A lot of stammering and stuttering recently.

Everyone who has a speech issue, such as her stuttering history, should be given a LOT of grace.

Wierd that I never noticed that about Leah. I just thought she seemed to jump to another thought too quickly. My mind does that too.

That's exactly it. It's not stuttering in a medical sense but rather her mind seems to always be 10 steps ahead of her. If you notice when guests are talking she really isn't paying attention but you can see she is thinking about what she is going to do or say next (you'll notice she puts her finger up and opens her mouth like she wants to interupt, which she does a lot). She tries to micromanage the entire show and as a result she stammers a lot and makes a lot of mistakes.Very difficult to watch.

I never knew this.  I don't see Leah very often, so truth is I never noticed.  I had a stammer as a small child.  But i out grew it.  But she's been around TV for a long time!  Good for her that she manages mostly to control it.

Who cares why she is taking time off. It's her business.

My thoughts exactly.  I hope she does not retire.  I would miss her.

I don't mind when she's out.

I think Leah and those who've been there forever, now have job security and will leave if and when they want to.

The Q knows there would be much too much fuss were they to let them go.

I have no idea what is in their contracts, but if Quarate wants to make a business decision regarding hosts, the "fuss" will be a non-issue.
