Le Creuset TSV-anyone afraid these are seconds?

I have noticed so many TSV's that aren't quality-I've purchased several of them and have had to return them all. I vowed not to order anymore TSV's because they aren't first quality. What's your opinion?

@Styleovertrend  I have always been very pleased with all of the LeCreuset that I have purchased from the Q.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

It's illegal to sell "seconds" unless they're marked as such.  They could, however, be a lower quality product.  Probably only an expert could tell.

They are most likely an out of date collection by Le Creuset.

I doubt they are factory seconds.

When you hear "you can only find this color/size/configuration here at the Q" it's because that item was made for QVC and the Qvc customer alone.

KA is ine brand that sells a line specifically made for the customers here.

I've ordered 3 tsv by Lecreuset and have been very satisfied with them all.

Although I've never bought any Lecreuset from QVC, I've bought many pieces from their outlet store in CT.  These pieces were sold as "seconds" at greatly reduced prices.  I was never able to find anything wrong with them. I did purchased a set of mugs directly from Lecreuset.  One chipped quickly and Lecreuset was very good at replacing it no charge for shipping.

Guess I got a bit off topic, but I don't believe QVC sells seconds.

This TSV is not a standard dutch oven size for LeCruset. I have a size 26 (5.5 quarts) and a size 24 (4.5 quart) dutch oven from them.

If you go on the LeCruset website you will not find today's size on their site.

This size was made for Q, its not a normal size for the company.

DH gave me a set when we were married. I've ordered four here, including this TSV. I'm very careful with what I choose to add to my collection. This is from their signature series, and it's definitely not a "second."  Smiley Happy
