So sad Laurie Felt leaving QVC and the fashion
industry, she is shutting down her fashion house to
spend more time with her family.....
Everything is on clearance.
Good Luck to Laurie....

"more time w/her family"--that is such a cliche'.

That's too bad but she isn't a spring chicken and I cannot say that I blame her. The items I own of her line are nice quality. Especially her jeans. I wish her well ![]()

I have never tried any of her items. Guess I won't start now.
I would think more time with her family is more like I am tired and exhausted. I've made my money and now time to spend it!

"more time with her family"... Lol. Yeah, sure that's the reason. When she was on HSN, I purchased from her line but when she came to QVC, I lost track of her. I think she didn't get many shows and there are a lot of jeans here. I suspect QVC was dropping her brand so it was over for her company.

@chrystaltree I don't know why it's so hard to believe. She certainly doesn't need the money. I'm sure designing a line takes a lot of her time. Unless you know that her sales are poor, then it is really strictly your opinion,

If they don't want to give the real reason it's always spend more time with family...

She said she was going to be a Grandma (Granny in her words). She also missed an awards show with her producer husband a few months ago because she had to work. I think it was her decision because she truly wants to spend more time with the people she loves.

Just thinking about it, her husband is a producer and she probably did not need the money, but was bored and started a jeans line.
Almost everything has been on clearance for awhile....ie: didn't sell at regular price. She either got tired of the work she didn't want to do anymore or QVC let the line "go".

@LindaSal Well she certainly isn't old. Maybe mid to late 50s. She was born May 1965, she's 58.
