Her company got bought out, so she is just the spokesperson now, nothing more I think... I'm sure she nothing to do with the manufacturing or QC.  And cost-cutting everywhere- Sadly, like a lot of things, Not a good deal anymore.

Her company was first bought by Glansaol, which also bought Clark's Botanicals and Julep. When Glansaol went bankrupt AS Beauty bought it. They sold Clark's back to the Clark family, and decided to rebrand the other two. Julep is being marketed to a younger market; Laura Geller was marketed to an older market. 

 

 

 

They seem to be following Laura's original ideas, and I'm glad to see they are bringing back some favorites!

Just read online that Laura Geller hasn't owned the company for a long time.  It was sold to the same parent company that owns JULEP.  Think they own a few other companies also.  Wish QVC would disclose this when doing presentations.
