Jonnysbro has had to keep her alive in the Q forums. If it wasn't for ole Bro Jonny no one would even remember her or care what she's doing.

Lisa chose to leave QVC and leave the corp world to have more creative freedom and wants to be in charge of her own money. I feel these new QVC hires that have entertainment backgrounds and fashion backgrounds is to try to find a new LR. I think they mess that fashionista giving us trends, beauty tips and giving us glam experience.

I really doubt that. Why would she keep posting over-the-top accolades about herself that inevitably bring on criticism? She never ends up looking good in these threads. If in fact this is LR (or someone doing this on her behalf), then she's not very bright.
I don't think it is Lisa but I DO think it is someone who works for Lisa.

In this particular situation any attention seems to be better than none. The OP, no matter how clumsy, still generates conversation and attention to Lisa. I think she accomplishes advertising the wares that she sells.

I disagree that any attention is better than none. All this does is generate bad reviews. Since LR doesn't even allow reviews, it makes no sense that she would be in favor of all the negative reviews here as well as the info that's revealed re her business practices, etc.

I doubt very much that she has found it lucrative to have these threads started. It's far more likely that they hurt her business rather than help.

Lisa is almost finished her third year of business. Most businesses fold in less than a year and shes going onto year 4 of the biz. Proud of her tenacity. She chose to write her own ticket and instead of writing someone else's. Lisa's dad said Lisa was his social butterfly child. She just was a very social child.

Jonnysbro they aren't looking for the diva replacement. Current shopping channel hosts are much more user friendly, relaxed, have personality and connect with the customers. Diva's style/over dressed/too much fake hair/ fake personality/snobby.

I watch all shopping channels. I haven't witnessed pagaent poses, teeny bopper facial manerisms or constant looking at self in monitors. My personal opinion, diva was afraid of aging on national tv. TV cameras zoom in and there are no Face Tuning filters.

It was not her choice to leave. Several of us who actually know this have posted about it before. (If anyone chooses not to believe that, it's fine with me.)

QVC is most definitely not looking for "a new LR". If that's what they wanted, they would have kept her. They opted not to do that. And there's no reason to think that they miss her. They've moved on, as have the large majority of QVC viewers.

You adore her. That's fine. But you don't seem to understand that you're in the minority, and most people don't see her as a glamorous goddess who lives a fabulous life. I don't see her that way at all. Never have, never will. You would have a lot more credibility and would be taken more seriously if you fact-checked some of what you say, and if you stopped stating your opinions as though they're facts. Just some friendly advice.

I disagree @NYC Susan. If not for these threads I would have no interest in Lisa's business. Every few months I check her website ONLY because of the comments made on these threads.

All of the comments on her Facebook page are those of admiration. I doubt her Tribe care what her detractors think of her. They probably consider them just a bunch of catty women with nothing better to do than pick apart a beautiful, successful woman. LOL...

Hosts who's choices were not theirs to leave got no goodbye. Lisa not only got a huge announcement of her leaving. She got a massive exit show party and the competition was so threatened they counter programmed a party with Amy and Bobbi. Lisa brought huge sales to the network. Lisa's intergram her followers are JTV, Evine and HSN hosts. Many look up to her.

Well, I guess we're on opposite sides of this. :-) Because of what I've read here, I would never even consider buying anything from her.

All of the comments on her FB are those of admiration because she deletes anything she doesn't like. No one is allowed to ask even an honest question if it's in any way negative toward her or her business. And it doesn't matter what her Tribe thinks of her detractors. It comes down to actual sales. I just don't see how the information that's shared here could possibly result in increased sales for her. It makes me want to run the other way!

So let's just agree to disagree on this one. :-)
