Re: LR Is Selling A $28,000 Necklace

I just read some of the comments and she said there is only one of each piece. So if one is purchased, the item is sold out.

OMG.  Sell outs!! Just proves the adage that some people have more money than brains.

I had to go look.  OMG the prices.   The only reason there are sell outs is because there is only one of each.  She said tat at the beginning of the video.

What I want to know is why can''t she get her ipad to sync with her voice?  Talk about a cheap set up and seriously again like others have said   Tacky fake hair and the ladies hanging out.

Who does that when they have been stalked?   I now believe that she was never stalked. You don't dress like that if you have been.

I did post that the ladies hanging out is tacky.  LOL  I am done , I will never look at her page again.  I did like her on the Q but what she is doing now is tacky and tasteless!!!!

Re: LR Is Selling A $28,000 Necklace

If I were in the market for a $30,000 piece of jewelry I would not go to LR's website.  Nor would I buy it from QVC or any shopping channel.  I also wouldn't buy it on line anywhere.

I would walk into a brick and mortar, well established, well known, high quality jewelry store to make my selection so I could see, feel and try it on. There would be a written evaluation of the piece (appraisal), including gem quality and type.  There would also be a written guarantee. This would include antique or vintage jewelry as well....  And I'm sure that I'm not the only one who feels this way.

No offense to LR and everyone who loves her but she is just not that well known out there.  Yes, she was a host on QVC and has been interviewed on a couple of shows.....but most of QVC's customers have grown old with her (and QVC) and there is a ton of new young customers who really have no interest in shopping channels and have no idea (or care) who she is....  I apologize if some find this offensive, but I feel it's true.

I wish her well and hope she knocks it out of the park.... but she hasn't so far and if a new enterprise hasn't become really successful in the first year or so.... the percentages of it happening drop swiftly....  Woman Sad

I don't get the "last call".  If there is only one then that makes no sense. But really even buying one of these high priced pieces from her makes no sense

@Beansey  If you watch the video it is at the very beginning that she says , there is only one of each.  I only watched like 2 min of it so I know it is at the beginning.

If she wants to sell jewelry that is 22,000 you would think she would have a better way to sell.  These video's with her voice and picture out of sync is so cheap.

I think this hs all gotten to her head.  It irritates me when she has her way of putting down QVC.  Let's face it , no one would know who she is if it wasn't for Qvc.

@Q4u  Agreed and very well stated.  With  Any item and especially expensive ones part of the pleasure is examining it by touching and inspecting it. It sure is crazy to think someone out there would purchase this way. I guess hero worship knows no bounds.

Yes.  Even her high school reunion.  Sorry, that's just weird, unless they are a couple.

Re: LR Is Selling A $28,000 Necklace

Someone asked her if the pieces came with papers and she said she did not know.  How do you sell a $28,000 piece of jewelry and not know if it comes with papers??  And anyone who would buy a piece like that without papers, well, there are just no words...

On her Sunday chat, Lisa was talking about how she and Katie like butterfly bushes. Lisa, speaking to Katie (who was , of course, off air) stated, We should put them around OUR house".

I didn't like the fact there were no stones around the back, either.  Not everyone has long hair that would cover the back of the necklace. Further, what if you wanted to wear your hair in an updo when wearing it?

Had to go look... Had I a spare 14 thousand sitting around, I could deal with that sapphire and diamond ring...

Eh, so she's selling pricey things... I don't see the problem... It's a free market economy and one assumes no arms are being twisted into buying...
