Has anyone bought her Christmas items? Are they worth the prices she is charging?  I seem to see so many cute items on QVC for a fraction of the price and great quality. On a side note, she had quite a few items from the last few days left on her site still for sale last night. It seems that overnight, nearly everything has sold out. What are the chances that nearly everything would sell out in the wee hours of the night? Or are they taken down to keep the frenzy up and will be offered again when the "demand" is better. Just wondering how this all works....

l bought some of her things last year and ended up returning them because the quality wasn't there. For the money it's wasn't there for me. She is a wonderful lady I'm wondering if that is why her items are always selling out.

I wonder if LR's items sell out so fast because she doesn't have a large quanity of them to begin with.  She has great taste and I like most of her items but not for the price they sell for.

Honestly, the stuff hasn't interested me at all. Some of it looks very cheap and like trinkets you would find at Big Lots for much cheaper.  It just wasn't my style.

As an aside, there was an anklet I did like within the last couple of weeks but by the time I saw it, it was sold out.  I'm sure if I looked, I could find something comparable elsewhere.

Just me, but I would never consider spending money simply because the seller was "wonderful." The mdse is either worth it...or not. Buying for any other reason is contributing to someone's private charity - which some have likened LR's couch sessions to.

I've seen few items where similar things can't be found elsewhere for less. Several things were very similar to QVC offerings. $1230 Xmas tree, anyone?

I think some of her things are pretty and other things are very strange.

I think her mark up is way too high.  I've seen similar items for much better prices.  She had a scene under a glass dome that I found in a boutique.  She was charging $58 for it.  The boutique was selling it for under $30.

Nothing she's selling justifies the prices she's charging.  The Tribe just buys because she's selling it.

@Lipstickdiva, I really liked that ankle bracelet as well. I hope it comes back in more more colors. The ones she offered would not work for me.

Usually, Last Call and Sold Out alerts go up pronto on her site. Her fans have been begging for Christmas, but it wasn't moving too fast.  It makes me wonder if they didn't actually all sell out in the middle of the night last night, and she pulled the product until closer to Christmas when it might be more popular (and put on Sold Out signs to make them seem  hard-to-get).

I think the "sold out" sign is something she puts on there when things haven't sold as quickly as she wanted. And then! We were on the phone with Italy ALL day and they agreed to make some more! Thereby re-creating the "frenzy" she hoped for. It's all a game and she loves (thrives) on creating a sense of Oh my, I've got to have it now!

@Moonchilde, Over a thousand bucks for a Christmas tree? Not this girl. But then, I don't leave mine up for months at a time.

That's funny - the phone call with Italy cracks me up.
