Well folks, I have not just ranted.  This has been going on since 9/11.  Haven't any of you known of lost military in this war?  Many have died from French arms and you don't know this.  Spend your money as you like but don't bury your heads in the sand.  It's not the first ime this type of post has been on the forums - folks just don't care I guess.

Just because we don't agree with your argument, don't dare suggest that we don't know of how many military men and women have been lost in this "war" or any other war.  I have several brothers who were career military.

I am not burying my head in the sand, as you suggest.  I just think you are blaming the wrong entity and you aren't offering a single fact to back up your statements.

As for France:  they also told the U.S. not to go to war in Vietnam.  The French had been there for 20 years before us and got nowhere.  Did we listen?  No.  How many lives were lost needlessly in fighting that "war"?  And what did we accomplish?  Nothing.

Just because other countries don't or won't support every military action we decide to take does not mean they are not our allies. "A true friend will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear."

By all means, boycott anyone or any country you wish for whatever reason.  But do not accuse others of the things you've said, just because they do not accept your version of the truth.

BTW, this thread has reminded me that I need to place an order with L'Occitane.  Thank you!

I just bought some L'Occitane shea butter hand cream last week, locally.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
