I've noticed on more than one occassion that Valerie Parr HIll will say "if your budget allows" when talking about maybe pairing a few items together. With the tough economic times and rampant inflation hampering buying power, it's very classy of Valerie to do that.

Such a nice change of pace from people like Alberti and Jen, who are nonstop "buy more than one" no matter the price of the original item..

I agree, inflation is staggering here, and with electric heat the bills have been horrendous for that alone.

I don't watch much QVC but I constantly hear 'look how this top color matches the other, you can wear both at the same time' to boost purchases. And then show a jacket that goes with the whole set. Then it's the '3 or 5 easy pays'.

I've read that gas prices may be jumping yet again, so I am certainly not going to be layering clothes! Lol

@ellaphant Also Hobby Lobby....They have a huge inventory of similar items at a much better price.

A few years ago I purchased something of hers. Shortly after I was in Tuesday Morning and saw her exact item at a much lower price.

What makes people visit a complementary thread just to post, "I hate him\her\that item. They are so awful..." Of course, we all have opinions, and many are very helpful, but some comments seem to passive-agressively insult the poster.

I dont watch any beauty, but it never occured to me to jump into and say, "<the rep> is such a fake, and the products are awful." Or: "Those products are junk, but yay for you if you enjoy them."
