Rosina has made a big 180 from when she first began .

Seems she has been doing her homework and  focusing on the items she's selling .

@LindaSal I have not watched the 24 hour jewelry but have enjoyed her in the past.   She appears to be on an even keel and not so full of herself!

@LindaSal   I totally agree about Rosina!  She did a terrific job!  She was perfect on a four hour shift with the different vendors and did not need a second host at all!  It reminded me of the old days at the Q with jewelry shows!

Quite arrogant to ask someone to “loose their accent”. I have strong NJ accent, worked in a corporate 100 in NYC and if anyone asked me to change my accent, I’d tell them to take a hike among other actions. I may not like a regional accent but I certainly wouldn’t suggest change. I’ve been told by residents in other countries that the NY/NJ accent was “charming”.

I like Rosina. As a former casting director, I would have her get rid of the accent.

That's nice for a part in a production, but she is trying to appear herself, not a character.

As a New Yorker, I LIKE her accent.   We grow up with people of all accents.   BTW, which accent are you noticing about her?    New York, Italian, Argentinian?    They all poke out every once in a while with Rosina.    She is herself, ALL of herself.

I too like Rosina and didn't notice before, but seeing her up close during a Mally show made me think she bears resemblance to the gorgeous actress Sofia Vergara.  Anyone else think so?

As a born and raised New Yorker who currently resides in a Mid-Western state, I really notice her accent and love it.  Since living here (and missing New York terribly), I think I lost my accent but everytime I open my mouth, someone will say, "You're from New York, aren't you?"  I repy, "How do you know?"  Response: Your accent is a dead giveaway.  Once a New Yorker, always a New Yorker.

I like her; she really won me over some months ago at 2:30AM some clothing show I can't remember...the camera panned by a dummy model and it sincerely scared her and she was so funny. She helps a shopper with good information.

This gal needs to check her pronunciation and shame on QVC for not picking up on it. It's jew-EL-ry...not jew-LER-y. I've been a QVC watcher since it changed its name from CVN to QVC. Long time. Some may think this is being picky but hosts need to be aware of such matters since public speaking is their job.

You are incorrect.  There are several different variants to pronounce the word jewelry according to the dictionary.

Rosina is pronouncing it correctly.  Different regions of the country pronounce it differently.  I pronounce jewelry the same way she does, as do most people from the same area of PA.
