What is your opinion? I think they shouldn't do it. It's so awkward and unprofessional.

ITA! It's also unnecessary and I'm sure it doesn't improve the sales in any possible way. Reva

I absolutely hate it, too --- what the heck! It's TV.

It's so unprofessional. The hosts have business associations with the vendors, they're not long-lost relatives. A hand shake would be much more appropriate. It's just silly and so fake.

mr Sylvia's family owned a store for over 100 years---he bought from a lot of different vendors of all types of merchandise and I'm sure he never kissed a single one---nor did his dad --WHY would QVC salespeople do this in a place of business?

Don't understand it. Is it suppose to make it all seem like family?

My vendors did it all the time. Typical of the industry. Doesn't bother me at all.

My vendors NEVAH did it. It would be way too chummy if you are a buyer kissing the vendors. We did not allow gift giving, either. There are some ethics involved.

It doesn't really bother me, though it does seem a bit silly. Most of the times I've seen it, it's merely "air kisses". What's the purpose of that????
