I don’t understand why anyone would WANT emotional breakdowns to be viewed by anyone and everyone. Ok I guess it is for attention, but those are not flattering moments. Does everything have to be shared? Have some dignity.

@Puppy Lips  Because it's proven to get you new social media followers.  Period.

People love to view the accident on the road.  They come back to see if there are follow up posts or more comments about what's happening, etc.

Even a lot of people who don't like her go back to see it again or for the next post.  Plus, if they engage with her on her page, her page gets more prominent in repetition; more eyes mean even more clicks/engagement.

Kerstin is trying to be a serious Influencer, so # of followers is everything -- it's literally money on the bank (it's all in the algorithm on how they can make money from it).

There are many classes on how to earn money on these platforms.  People can be easily manipulated by 30-second posts that grab your attention.

@Caaareful Shopper Thank you for the explanation.  I kind of figured that was the case.  But why anyone would make themselves look so stupid or just plain bad, and get flooded with negative comments, just to make a buck -- well, that is something I will never understand.  I wonder what her husband thinks of all this.  Mine would be mortified if I put stuff like this on social media.  Podcasts are one thing (I don't even listen to those) but this garbage she has put on Facebook, and I have only seen very little of it, is not worth my time or attention.  I am going to unfollow her right now, as I don't want to support content like that.

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else. Margaret Mead

@San Antonio Gal    You may not find it by just typing Kerstin Lindquist strip poker" into Youtube. Please type this exactly "QVC host Kerstin Lindquist dancing and stripping" if you want to see at least one of the shows being,  "Strip Poker" episode of her in college or just graduating college of over 20+ yrs ago is there.

Our Christian preacher goodie too shoes still wears the belly button ring today in mid 40's, LOL. The channel that has it on youtube also has many other QVC clips/bloopers, so it's worth a look, IMHO.
