I have to say that I have never been the biggest Kerstin fan, however I feel really bad for her getting attacked on her recent Facebook post with a crying post. Many of her followers are getting pretty vicious. I also noticed on her Jan 11th cold plunging post that they were getting on her about her bikini attire.

I would only get on the Jan 11th post to admonish about pushing the cold plunging to everyone. Going outside in a bikini in 30-40 deg weather is going to raise cortisol/stress hormone and raise fight or flight response and cause stress to the body. Then, jumping in freezing water to me is pretty wackadoodledoo! I find it to be dangerous.

I just wish she would be carefull pushing these health fads to everyone, as it comes off dangerous, like her posts this summer about beef lard tallow in the sun. She is asking for trouble with that fad that is all over social media. I do feel terrible for the viciousness she is receiving on her Facebook for a rough day of crying, but I guess she puts herself out there and so leaves her vulnerable.

JMO.....She is so fake and will do anything for attention.  When you post everything you do on social media for the world to see, you have to be ready for the unkind reactions. Sincere people do not need to post a picture of them praying. She worship herself and likes to expose herself, especially her body, (nothing godly about that) again this is JMO.

@QVCTVSpree Too bad. I'm no Kirstan fan either, as a presenter or host...just doesn't resonate with me, as others do.

That said...your post makes me wonder, something I've wondered in our relatively recent age of social media....were there always this many angry, disgruntled, mean-spirited, ignorant people in our world before and we just didn't know it, or has our society bred them recently.

Such commentary and social media attacks always say way more about the people posting than the ones getting attacked.

As for cold plunging...I have two friends who do it...in their 70's. I'm in my 60's and don't feel the urge or necessity to do it, and also feel it would be a danger to me at this age, especially! I remember once going into the freezing ocean in Maine one summer, I was in my early 30's, got up to my chest and I literally felt I couldn't breathe, and like I could have had a heart attack.

I know...plenty are doing it, and surviving...and maybe it does have benefits...but I just won't be.

I am sorry, but if you post things on social media you have to know there are people that will attack you for what ever reason.  You are putting yourself out there for the whole world to see.
