Kerstin Lindquist's name pronounciation

I thought it was Kerstin as in "cur."  But Susan Graver kept addressing her as Kierstin as in "tier."

I just heard Alberti pronounce it the same way.

When I want to know how to correctly pronounce someone's name, I listen to how that person pronounces their own name.

Oh, I recall well the first time I ever saw her on a Saturday Morning Q show hosted by David and Shawn. You can imagine just how long ago that was! Anyway, they were introducing Kerstin as a new host and asking about the pronunciation of her first name. She said it's very easy to remember...it rhymes with "beer." It was so funny to me!
