Re: Kerstin Lindquist getting Fasting Coach certification?

No clinical training. No license. Meanwhile, registered dietitians spend years in school, complete supervised internships, and pass national board exams. They’re trained to manage real conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and hormone disorders.

Fasting coaches aren’t. There’s no regulation, no oversight, and no accountability. If someone’s giving advice about dementia, menopause, or endometriosis without a license, that’s not empowerment, it’s reckless.

Pretty sure Suzanne Somers was a pioneer in just that. I don't think she was reckless. You either believed her theories or you didn't.

You either bought her book and her merch or you didn't.

Same with Kerstin. Nobody is requiring you to listen to her or use her services.

You are correct, no one’s forcing anyone to follow Suzanne Somers or Kerstin Lindquist. But when public figures start giving health advice, especially about serious conditions, it’s not just about personal choice. There are consequences.

Suzanne may have been a pioneer in wellness branding, but she also promoted unproven treatments that confused a lot of people. Kerstin’s doing something similar, using personal experience and online certificates to position herself as a health authority.
