Today's hot news was that fashion designers/advertisements were now showing fashion on models of varied shapes and sizes.   QVC has been doing this since day one and blazed this trail 30+years ago.  Almost every item from every designer has been offered in sizes small to 3X with petite, regular and tall choices in many items. Garmnet sizing  information is shown which makes it easier to size if you know your body measurements.  More important, the clothing has been featured on models of all sizes which is so helpul and necessary to make informed choices when buying clothing from TV or internet.   Thank you QVC and QVC designers for leading the way.

Oh, I'm so excited to read your post!  I'm the same height.  I so wish more clothes on the Q and everywhere came in petites  (which may not even be quite petite enough for us.)  But when Lori G. and others say clothes look good on all heights, I just moan and roll my eyes,

Yes....they have shown different size models for a while

and the measurements for the garments under "click here" i always check....

Of course everyone would love to see models in their sizing............I myself am glad for a petite model .....i am

usually and XL but they don't show petite models larger

then "L".................wish they would...

I like the fact they have petite models, but sometimes QVC defeats the purpose by having them wear high heels and that makes it difficult to judge lengths on pants, dresses and skirts!!!  And the models need to put their feet flat instead of doing a "ballerina pose", again I want to see the length on the model because I want to be able to judge if I wear flats or sandals etc.....

As for the "click here" measurements, they arent always accurate---Ive been burned using those.....

Absolutely agree!!  I have also ordered a garment based on 'size chart'only to find that the measurements were way off!!   I get more info on the item by seeing it  on the models that most resemble my size and shape!
