@Catch71, Her book isn't only about adopting and then finding out they were pregnant. It's about the struggles of infertility, miscarriages, failed adoptions, the toll all that takes on you, your marriage and your faith. There is a lot more that happened then just her adopting, getting pregnant and then adopting Ben. She had an adoption that fell through and other personal things she's shared.
Kerstin is an award winning journalist...so clearly writing a book falls in line with her life and talents.
From the Amazon page:
"Kerstin Lindquist is an award-winning broadcast news journalist and host at the leading home shopping channel, QVC. She started her career in network news working for local affiliates of NBC, Fox, and ABC. Kerstin was awarded four Emmys for her reporting including, most notably, one for a series of previously unauthorized interviews with young military men stationed in Guantanamo Bay. ...."
It goes on to say that she was writing a blog about her journey while working in San Diego. Following with a book is a natural... (the book is not very expensive, BTW, and therefore isn't bringing in high royalties as assumed. NO millions being made here when it is a FREE Kindle Unlimited download)

The book was released over a year ago. Why the story now?

Very touching and heartfelt.
I wish them health and happiness. Those children are very loved!

Evine host, Erin Newberg shares a very similar story to this. I read her story a few months ago, maybe on the Evine host page, not sure. She as 2 sons, the first adopted, the second biologically hers. It often seems that once couples adopt, they conceive shortly after.

@Catch71...what is wrong with writing a book about your life experiences? This was so important to her that she wanted to share it. It just happens to be someone we watch on QVC. There are many non-famous people who are moved to write a book about something they have experienced in life.

I sort of agree. Her story is very common, thousands of women are dealing with the exact same issue, and have had the same things happen to them. For me, it's just more of her 'it's all about me' attitude. Glad I missed it.

I just watched the video and am touched by Kerstin's story. Watching her as a tv personality on a shopping channel is oen thing but her sharing her inspiring and lovely story about her children is filled with meaning and hope.
I am happy she and her husband have been blessed with three healthy beautiful children and I hope her story gives others the hope they need to not give up.

Sorry if my post was taken as offensive. I was reading the post thinking of several of my friends who struggled for so long. She has every right to write a book and I hope it helps someone.

Yes, personal things. I only wrote how I felt at the moment having had several friends go through something similar. I hope her book helps someone.
