K45657--Adding box cutter to the tip? Hmm Uh Uh!

I have the original shears, have had since they came out.  Love them.  Adding a box cutter to the top of the tip is an accident waiting to happen.

I have to agree with you @Shawnie. Sometimes you just don't need the kitchen sink in every gadget.  Those shears were just fine the way they were.  Why add the need for that protective rubber tip -- just to lose it and then have the box cutter slice your finger. Big mistake, IMO.

I have to disagree. I have had the shears with the box cutter for over a year, and they are great . Of course you have to make sure that you fold it back after you use it, but that is just good sense. I have a pair in the garage an d several in the house, it's a great product.
