Is it difficult for Leah to host Gourmet Holiday? She's worked so hard, said before she's given up all the foods she loves, and looks fantastic. Sometimes for me all it takes is a taste of something to derail me from healthy eating.

Leah is a professional with a job to sell the food, not eat it!

I understand your point @Justshop.  At Q, she not only has to sell, but also it seems the hosts are expected to taste the food items.  I guess when those shows are on Leah will offset the Q food tasting with other healthy choices, but I know from experience how hard that is.  I do a good job myself when I'm away from work, but while there I'm practically surrounded by chips, sweets, etc.  It's sometimes very hard to pass it up!

I'm guessing Leah will be okay and I think it's nice of you to think of her.  😊

I imagine when she has to taste food, she takes tiny nibbles and accounts for them in her daily calorie allocation.

Gluten free Mary manages to do it.

they also have a host who can't eat most of the food

go figure, hosting a cooking show on a weekly basis.

They can host but not be expected to taste I guess

Interesting observation...of course it is a challenge but the truth is it is tough for each of us who has made a commitment to a healthier lifestyle.  Food is in our face constantly.  You make the choice every day what you put in your mouth while temptations abound.  Yes, one taste can activate those taste buds.  Much respect for those of you who dedicate yourself to be the best you can.

It probably is a little hard.  She's likely faced along her journey and has a plan.  You have to have one, so getting side track doesn't happen.

It's her job.  There are many things most of us have to do in our jobs that is difficult for us at times.

She's not scarfing it down as if it's her last day on earth to eat........like someone else who is growing at the rate of looking likely to explode any day now.
