I enjoy Julia!  I daresay, she's preferable to many of the hosts, some of them long-time.

I usually don't post, but I do read the comments.  But I have to reply to the comment 'slings and arrows and barbs from the previous unpleasant host.'  What are you talking about?  Obviously, we all know who the previous host was for Denim and Company.  This simply is not true, and you know it!  Gary and Carolyn were always pleasant and funny to each other, and no one ever said anything mean or condesending to Pam!  This is not trying to suppress anyone's right to their opinion, but this is an outrageous/slanderous lie!  I watched numerous D&C programs over the years and nothing like what you refer to happened!  (And this has nothing to do with Julia...I just can't stand to read such untruths!)

Valu thanks for chiming there are a number people who enjoy Julia's zest for life and fun energy. She has that one of a kind personality that clearly liked by QVC executives

Oh give me a break with this continued hate about Julia. There are people gushing other hosts in here that I think are horrible but I don't blast them for it. Julia is loved by the QVC brass as she is getting much hours and the last post I did had several Julia praises. Shes unlike any other host I have seen on electronic retailing. I am sick of the same old host that is something we have seen. I am looking for authenticity and unique. I dont care if Julia has her shirt in a half tuck because she's absolutely being true to herself. She has a zest for life and why should anyone be bitter about that. Give me unique anyday of the week over continued hosts that are just the same ole same ole

This obsession with Julia is alarmingly creepy.

I don't get it... " @sugar plum

Far better, imo, to hear @JONNYSBRO 's words of praise than to hear the negative, nasty posts about hosts who talk about their family, don't wear their hair in a way that's acceptable to the elderly, or who don't pronounce their words in a way that keeps others from losing their, uh, let's say...stuff (unstable as it may be). Smiley Wink

Granted, those really critical complaints are super-duper important which is why they must be continued to be posted minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day, month after month and so on. Yet, isn't it interesting the hundreds of nonsense posts about Carolyn being fired (as if!, lol) are just fine? Definitely not unhinged, no, not at all.  Smiley Very Happy

Personally, I think it's all the folks who can't stay from JB's threads that are the stalkers. They see a thread with his name and can barely get out of their own way fast enough to run over and post something unflatteringly ignorant.

Look at some of the Carolyn fans who can't stop talking about her and have said in no uncertain terms they will continue to talk about her. They prattle on and on about things they have no knowledge of while others chime in and sound equally as obtuse. Would you call them stalkers or are they just known as the people who have a right to their opinion?

I've been reading on this forum, over and over, that EVERYONE has a right to post how they feel, but somehow, when it's JB, it's not okay?

Hmmm...sounds like we may have stalkers but their name isn't JB.  And to be fair I'm not referring to the posters I addressed here. People for whom this shoe fits SHOULD know who they are but I realize that's probably asking a lot!

Susie thank u so much with your post. Its crazy the hypocrisy that some of these QVC posters have. Trashing hosts the hste is okay or gushing certain hosts are okay. I am sorry I am my own person and I will say I love Julia Cearley zest for life and her approach to hosting on QVC. Some say some nasty things about Julia and its just ridiculous. She doesn't deserve personal attacks. What matters is what her bosses think and she's getting a pretty good schedule and I see why. A fresh youthful approach is taking place and they love whst they see. It isn't Julia's fault Carolyn got fired.

While we're on the topic of Julia I was surprised to see her take out her phone and place an order during the Denim & Co show.  I guess hosts no longer have to wait until they are off air to shop.  I wonder if this is something new or if I just haven't seen others do it because I am watching QVC less.

I think she's a work in progress, still learning. Seems like a nice girl though

This past Tuesday Leah was on with Gary not Julia.
