Julia has made it shes one of the best new hosts the Q has had in years. Shes a complete blast

There is nothing wrong with praising a host. Shes been such an angel for QVC and really so welcoming to the new hosts. People don't want to give her a chance when she is really excelling. I hope she's at the Q for a long time. She fits the QVC brand to a tee.

Personally, I find Julia to be a bit too loud and over exuberant.  There are a couple of other hosts in my opinion who over the top.  So, I don't watch them.

I still wondering about the decision to hire a bartender as a shopping channel host.

She has experience in other fields besides bartending:

Julia is a former actor, entertainment host, and mixology specialist (yes, really!) who developed high-concept bar programs for some of Los Angeles' hottest restaurants. Now, she's thrilled to bring her passion for discovery, invention, and fun to QVC.

And there is nothing wrong with posters disagreeing. If you don't want any negative comments to your post, then don't replay the same tune expecting a different result. If you participate then expect some disagreement. Many people gave her a chance and aren't enthralled. That's life.

I personally think JB likes to rile the posters here on the Q Boards.  He/she posts the same things over and over.  It is almost like dealing with someone in pre-school who doesn't know when to stop.  

I notice when responses get slow JB puts in another two cents to start it all back up again.

JB if this is your life and it makes you happy, then by all means please continue!
