ITA!  I love Alberti and will say he's prob my favorite host.

I though Julia was a very poor host for her 1st year hosting.  Always looked like she was on her way to a music festival in the desert.  She had ragged manicures during jewelry shows, and never seemed prepared for her items in any show.  She spent most of the time just chatting away nonsensically with vendors.   

But wow -- I saw her yesterday in her Irish show on QVC2 and I was very impressed.  She said how much she was tutored by Jane Treacy on all things Irish.  She was so grateful to Jane for answering her many questions. The fact that she reached out and did so much homework (it really showed!) was terrific.  She was not silly, over dramatic, or rambling.  She was warm, energetic, fun and generally knowledgeable.  I really thought she was great.
