I am new to this blog/forum thing.  What is with Josie Maran products.  I have been BIG fan of face butter since first discovered on qvc , how long ago?

Any way, went to another site, I can't remember if it was her site or Amazon. Anyway, seems watered down and afer applied to my face feels sticky.  Is there a change in formula or did I get a bad batch?

Any ideas?

She abruptly left Q end of 2024, final appearance was a true "peace out". No long drawn out goodbye (very similar to IT leaving Q).  Various theories out there as to why, from reformulations to changing packaging, she was selling the company and so on. Very limited stock at Sephora when I dropped in recently. Have only been using my own stock so nothing has changed for me.

I have switched to WHISH body/face cream and that absorbs much faster than her body butter that would feel greasy for what seemed like hours. I really like it but only get it on sale.

Welcome to the boards !

I never used face butters; however, a poster here in December highly recommended using the  pure Argan Oil foundation at Trader Joe's for approx. $7 / bottle.

I tried it and it helped this 81-year old skin nicely for the money !

I hated her body creams!  So greasy and never absorbed like it should.

I just started w/ Whish several months back and have been SO pleased!  I can actually put my clothes on pretty quick after applying!  My skin looks and feels so much better.

I too found her body butters to be greasy. It never fully absorbed when I would use it at night. In my morning shower, my legs became oil slicks and I was just washing it all down the drain. I also never appreciated her s£x kitten routine during presentations and I doubted her whole back story of the product. Glad she is off the Q.

Exactly! Loved Josie Maran and the kits! Why did she leave? Won’t pay prices on other sites. It’s the best but my wallet says different. I guess it’s all about the money☹️

So sad to see Josie Maran is no longer with QVC.  Have used her products for many years.  I have even searched her site, very few products.  Other sites have only a few things.  I miss Josie

I was a huge Josie fan, everything from her body butters to makeup. I used her Milk a lot, but not every day. I liked Argan oil light instead of regular, but since I had regular, I used it on my fingernails at night. 

My personal opinion about her leaving is she was trying to hang on to her own company without selling. And I admire her for that. Of course that may not be the reason; it's just my speculation.

Sephora looked at me like I had three eyes when I excitedly took an mua over to the small Josie end cap they had and started asking if they had certain items. 

So I kind of went cold turkey. I'm using what I have, but I've resigned myself to never again finding the selections of scents she had, or the makeup I really liked.

I miss her products on qvc and the great prices.

i still have a few bottles of argon oil left but wonder what I'll use in place of it once my stash is  gone .

 It does sound like her line will  not be available anywhere in a short period of time.   
what oil is anyone using in place of ?

I too have wondered why she left so abruptly. She was such a popular moneymaker for the Q and remember her being on often, like KG is now.
