I like the Joan River fashions but wish the tops came in Petite. Joan was short and would not have worn her tops as long as the ones Q offers. They just showed a blouse which was long in length to begin with and they said it would be fine on someone Petite (short). How could something look right on their 5'10" model and look just as right on someone 5'1"? Joan would never wear anything that long! Pants are starting to be offered in Petite, but the length of tops matters too!

I totally agree about the tops/jackets in all of QVC's lines. I am short and I know that something that looks great on the models (5'8" and taller) would look horrible on me at 5' even. I bought many SG tunics years ago and when I see photos now I wonder what I was thinking. QVC also needs to offer "real" petite length pants (around 27") in all lines especially Linea. To me 29" or 30" is not petite. I hate having to take items to a seamstress to be altered. Takes a lot of time and adds to the cost of the garment.

I agree with you ladies wholeheartedly. I see a cute top and I see how long it is on the tall models and know I could wear it as a dress. It is so hard to try to find clothes when you are short. 29 inch inseam is not petite unless I wanted to wear 5 inch heels. I will not take clothing to the tailor unless it is for a special occasion. QVC is missing out on a lot of money because of that. I still try every now and then but usually have to send it back. I guess I will stick to kitchen items and shoes.

I am 5’7” and wish there were shorter tops. Why is everything a tunic? I am short waisted and don’t want tunics. It seems whenever there is a trend QVC has to go overboard with overkill. Choices would be great.

Nothing stays the same, our dear Joan is gone and evidently David doesn't push hard enough for the buyers to order the clothes in petite sizes.

I agree with you both about petites and its not just the Joan Rivers clothing line....I think ALL of them have this problem..
.
And then the stylist seem to put the petite models in high heels which adds anywhere from 2 to 4 inches in their height so it makes it difficult to judge how a top, pants, or skirt is going to fit. And what about a petite person that wears clothes with low heels, flats or sneakers......??????.....
And Im tired of Amy saying I'm 5'2" Im a petite yet she wears stilettos so she's not representating a petite person........
Or they will say this garment doesnt come in petites but petites can still wear it....Ive tried some of these items are they are way too long and had to return them, got tired of that...So I dont buy many clothes from QVC anymore ![]()

And today with the Cuddl Duds TVS! No petites or talls and 30" inseam. Shawn telling us how they will fit everybody, even petites where they will just be a little longer. Then to suggest rolling the waist up or down to accommodate. Telling us the talls will just be an ankle pant.
Well, Cuddl Duds can just do w/o my business, if they want to deal in "one size fits all" by rolling the waists up or down. A 30" inseam is NOT going to fit a 5'11" and a 5' woman. And I guess Ms. Cuddl Duds isn't aware that petites don't appreciate having to pull the waist band up to their bra to avoid a crotch to their knees.
Cuddle Duds and the Q make more money in offering one-size-fits-all. Everybody knows why you don't offer talls and petites.

Isnt it hilarious in a sarcastic way....Who wants to walk around with rolled up pants (or perhaps QVC considers it "on trend") or are they saying petites have to pay for alterations on an already overpriced piece of clothing.....and alterations are pretty expensive around here....they were going to charge my sister $32 just to shorten a pair of pants..........
. NO THANKS---Ill shop elsewhere......

I sure miss Joan.

Joan River's clothing line has lost their way, IMO. It's either big shirts or 3/4 sleeve collarless bolero jackets that don't go with much.
Today, TSC in Canada has an expensive Joan Rivers jacket as their Today's Showstopper. IMO, it's hideous and expensive. The price of $109.99 CDN is unreasonable for what it is -- a ribbon jacket with clown ruffles on the sleeves. The full price of $159.99 CDN is outrageous.
I can't imagine that Joan would have worn anything like this in real life either. I didn't see this jacket on QVC, but I wouldn't be surprised if this one shows up here too.
