Bless her heart!😐 I did not see the presentation, but remember some cringe-worthy presentations from years past when she had another line of fashion and shoes on HSN. I recall reading an article last year in which she spoke rather candidly of her struggle with alcohol and drug addiction. I do not know if that in any way is related to her present state of mind and less than informed product presentations, but I certainly have empathy for her, and wish her well along her continuous wellness journey.😊

Does she do well on HSN, absolutely not, and should have a brand ambassador. She is not the dumb blond she portrayed on the reality show with her first husband, and unfortunately that label has followed her.

She has had her ups and downs through her career and now has a wonderful husband and 3 children. I applaud her accomplishments but would advvise her to avoid HSN

@mspatmac I agree 100%.. She is a smart and savvy business woman for sure! I have seen pics of her beautiful family and am happy for her. She seems very sweet, and definitely not dumb!!!! She does need a rep if she is going to stay on HSN, and maybe just make guest appearances with her rep if she wants to continue that venue...

Does anyone remember Adrienne Landau who had a line of faux fur products? She was practically non-verbal, but I loved her because she did the best she could in public speaking but soared in design and business.

I've always liked Jessica Simpson designs but have never seen her. From these comments it appears she also has verbal communications issues.

Personally, I would rather have her there with both strengths and flaws on view than hide her away because of a disability. I commend HSN for its decision.

Kudos to her parents and teachers who taught her she could be successful.

Mother Simpson is probably wholly responsible for the success of the line, along with promoters, sort of like Kris Jenner, a "momanger". She knows that her daughter is not the sharpest knife in the drawer and has no choice but to compensate for her shortcomings.

I've always thought Callie did a really nice job and presents very professionally. Probably my favorite HSN host.

I also watched the midnight presentation with Callie.

The first thing that struck me was that, in addition to JS being almost non-verbal, her appearance left a lot to be desired. Her hair, makeup and how she styled the TS dress (accentuating the slit with crossed legs) were most unflattering and the audio was so bad I never guessed that the lady beside her was her mother!
