Another poster here theorized that perhaps Jennifer will take over QVC's host training as her new job. Mary Beth is retiring and there hasn't been a different host trainer in decades for them.
I didn't go back through all these pages to tag that poster, but I just wanted to say it sounded like a great guess.
I don’t think she has enough of a following to take over this position. They would go with someone like David, or Pat before they would give her that role.
@manny2 You could be right. But I think otherwise.
New host trainer is totally behind the scenes. I never would have known Mary Beth was the trainer for decades without her mentioning it. After hiring, each newly hired host is then given a seasoned host mentor who tutors them on the nuances of the job and keeps them encouraged.
Jennifer has already posted on her social media page that among other things, she wants a career as a coach and presenter for organizational events. Being the host trainer for a multi-billion corporation would be a huge feather on her resume for the other jobs in between those times. QVC would get a seasoned host who loves the camera and still wants to be a part of the business.
Not saying this is what Jennifer would be doing, but I can definitely see her in this role.
Not putting Pat or David down, but I cannot see either of them as a new host trainer. Pat is too passive (she apologizes for everything in her shows), and is quite personally introverted. Back when they had the Q50 trip in Vegas, she said Jayne Brown had to promise to be by her side the entire trip. David is all about David, and already has a very busy schedule. He gets his new "mentees" put in his shows for a stint; that seems enough.
