I'm just surprised that Jill would volunteer vociferously about a new relationship.

I thought Jill was Shawn's age - 49.  Agree no big deal on the age difference.  She'll probably be mentioning it all the time like she did with the last boyfriend.  But not as much as Jane talks about the daughters.

I watched some of her shows for the TSV on Monday. I heard her talk about her mother a lot but not a BF.

I am happy for both of them.  Life is short and we have to grab happiness when we find it and hold on.   What is the big deal when a woman dates a man 9 or 10 years younger?  I have a problem with men who date and marry women who are young enough to be their daughters and sometimes their granddaughters.  Now that is kind of gross.
