Thankfully I watch the Q very little anymore so was sad to hear she is leaving but glad for her family. I wonder who will be next from the older hosts. Will it be Pat D. Dan H., Jayne Brown, shoe guru Jane, Antonella, Mary Beth , or hopefully Ric,. Doubt Ric, David, Carolyn, or Shawn will go anytime soon. Oh please Mary D. but no chance of that. Oh well I will just continue to shop online for my tried and true favorites. Those are far and few inbetween lately anyway. I only watched the kitchen shows and D&C but even those have gone by the wayside. Since i read the forums occasionlly I will see who is retiring next.

I was totally shocked to hear that Jill is leaving the Q and it’s probably because I don’t watch or shop QVC as much as I used to. I’m not sure if there’s more to her reasons for leaving than she stated, but I will respect those wishes and I wish her nothing but happiness as she transitions into the next phase of her life. I, for one, know that work is important but elderly parents leave us too soon and children grow up in the blink of an eye and there’s no price on the value of time spent with loved ones. I will miss her as a host and I will miss her decorating shows especially during Christmas season....she was the absolute best! I’m not on Facebook but being able to follow Jill for her decorating tips, recipes, and entertaining ideas just may be the push that I need lol! Be blessed Jill and make no mistake, you are a class act my dear! ❤️🙏

I agree w/@Johnnyeager and njgirl...I’ve said all along Jill has been a wonderful host and many other positive adjectives to describe her.. but it just has gotten to be a bit much now w/ the endless and plugging and promoting of her new “Just” website and several vendors now she has announced she is doing future work with. It’s gotten slightly snarky now.,The most recent one was Laura Geller at the end of the 9PM hour. There had to have been an agreement made w/ management that she would be able to promote and plug endlessly her new social media. If anyone has worked in Corporate, you can definitely see this was not a “normal resignation”!!

@Bobby5. No it isn’t normal to obsess over a TV host and why they are leaving. Personally I don’t care. She made a decision and that should be that. All the assumptions and speculation is crazy IMO. .

There are several hosts on QVC that are just as good as Jill. I will miss her too, but no reason to slam Shawn or anybody else for that matter. Not cool

I won't miss her at all.

I don't watch during the day, but when I did, she became an automatic channel change for me.  Her schoolmarm persona was too much for me to listen to.

I wouldn't have even known if I hadn't read it here.

So what if she stated 4 months ago that she will be around QVC...   A lot can happen in 4 months.  I never thought I was going to retire when I did as my SO was not going to retire for several more years and we were planning to retire at the same time but he suddenly said he was retiring early while he still was somewhat healthy so we both retired a month later.  Best move ever!!!

Hmmm...pretty sure I said "curiosity is human nature" not "obsession is normal"😏
