Something I just had to vent about---during jewelry shows I've heard several hosts mention that you have to minimize your jewelry because in the summer it's so hot out, and jewelry can make you feel hotter., so just a simple slim chain is perfect for summer. ....Meanwhile back in Q's fashion world -- this morning on AM Style....one of the models was wearing 3/4 sleeves, with a vest and wrapped in so many scarves she looked like she was ready for a BLIZZARD!!! So using QVC's logic a GOLD CHAIN may make you too hot --- but bundling up with layers of fabric with clothes and scarves is certain to keep you cool in hot humid summer days---and those days are here in Texas, southwest, and in the south! So ladies bundle up like Nanook of the North, so you can stay "on trend", but be careful about wearing anything more than a simple chain in jewelry might make you sweat GET REAL QVC!

And yet, they are selling those very huge Joan Rivers necklaces as perfect for summer. I get hot just thinking about all of those beads hanging on my neck when it's in the 90's and humid. Maybe I can layer a scarf under them to absorb the sweat.

Now Spurt, we've never claimed moms wasn't as transparent as a freshly cleaned plate glass window...

Off to do some layering, but remove all my jewelry. After all, we're in the 80's today....

Hi BevG....QVC certainly does contradicts itself don't they depending on the vendor of the moment. Gee I think you're right they plan to use the scarf as a sweat absorber.....a scarf that multitasks how clever....

BTW did you have to rub it in....mid 90's here and just as humid...but oh wait the inaccurate weather forecasters say we are expecting a "cool front".....supposed to be NEAR 90 with a chance of rain... I wonder if that means they will put THE HEATER on in the Spur's arena....

For months now, they've been overdoing it with all those scarves on anything that moves.

I don't know HOW the Wen Dogs didn't get scarves tied on them, too!

Tsk tsk, Spurt, those of us in the civilized world have air conditioning... Sometimes, even in summer, it's cold inside... Scarves and sweaters can be part of one's reality, even in summer... Honestly, where IS your fashion sense!?

I am another one who can't wear jewelry or scarves in the warm weather...heck...I can barely stand wearing a top....(but I must...don't I...lol) I'm glad to see kitty so fashionably forward..

"marker man" is on with his phony demo's.....I am going between all three shopping channels.....rings on the two others....all on e-z pay, too...shophq's is pretty...love that coral....
