It's "like" Facebook

The new forums are striving to be "like" Facebook.  We'll notifications whenever anyone "hearts" aka likes or quotes any of our postings.  Those notifications will also be sent to our email in-boxes.

I don't like Facebook anymore either! And I don't want endelss "notifications" coming to my email box...I was quite capable of going to "my activity" and checking replies to my messages. I think I was able to opt out of notifications in my preferences, we'll see if that works. This is just a mess...there is stuff "scattered" all over the screen, and no sub-forums.

Change your preferences.  I got rid of all the hearts (that's juvenile) and I am not getting e-mail notifications either.

You can hide the heart thing under preferences, it doesn't bother me sort of like the "like button" that was asked for.

 

There are no email notifications, that was mentioned yesterday.
