Well, of course!
This is a business arrangement. QVC is in the business of selling televised airtime to manufacturers who want to reach the vast QVC audience.
I'm sure they negotiate the number and length of presentations, the time of day of each placement of product mention, and probably the first and second choice host preference for each presentation.
These deals are negotiated, and contracts are signed many months in advance of the TSV day to allow for production of a pre-agreed upon number of pieces available at time of sale.
So keep watching, and complaining HERE about how you don't want to watch what you're evidently still watching, and understand many of the TSV'S you're complaining about are probably already in place for 2017.

I don't watch QVC anymore, just check in once in a while. Or should I say, my DH switches over to the Q during commercials. Well I had to laugh. Every time he switched over today, they were presenting the TSV.
Even funnier, we bought basically that same laptop last year.

I wonder who the target TV audience is that actually buys electronics from QVC, HSN, and Evine. It is rather infomercial like to watch these presentations as they are eyerolling BORING. It's like banging your head against the wall over and over again.

Totally agree - that one last wk w/Ms Maran was insane -- she could not have been MORE greasy!!!!!!! If you looked at the program guide her name in in every hour.

QVC needs to listen to their customers!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH with the same old items shown day after day!!!! The TSV everyday is shown way WAY to much....

So true!! It is the same product over and over and not just limited to the TSV! Blankets, hair dryers, vacuums, argon oil, slippers, flashlights, windshield covers.....ugh. Plus that Halo Bolt thing was on overdrive....the fake excitement was so lame.

I sometimes put QVC on as background noise - I guess I expect the QVC of old, where they had new products and maybe something would catch my eye and I would buy it (now I usually find it cheaper elsewhere but that's another story!). I tried this weekend and I don't know what the 120 hours of deals are but so far one day every time I tuned in it was that Halo product, the next day the computer was on all day, today I did not bother. I realize people are in and out but they used to sell out TSVs showing them only several times throughout the day. It's pretty awful! I did flip by HSN, and actually bought something. it seems if you were not interested in the TSV there was nothing on.
Interestingly, and rather foolishly, I am interested in the Dyson hair dryer. Despite touting its new technology during the presentation QVC has done an awful job on explaining what that is, how it works or how to use the hair dryer. Nothing they do makes much sense anymore - they have a product that requires some time and a decent presentation and then they vary from the overkill and don't bother doing it...

@blondegirl I so agree. I highlighted what really irritates me most about QVC presentations. Multiple presentations, with the push to buy, but within all these hours and hours never seem to have enough time to give a detailed explanation/demonstration. They do this with most products. And in some instances I believe intentionally leave out some products' information/limitations which may or may not influence sales. In other words, a well informed consumer has to jump thru hoops to get detailed information.

I think QVC is indeed listening to their customers. They have the option to listen to the tens of thousands of people who bought the TSV yesterday (more than 40,000 by mid-day) and today, or QVC can opt to listen to the handful of people who complain here (people who frequently state that they purchase very little, if anything, on QVC).
Please tell me who QVC needs to listen to ? T/he people purchasing items and paying the bills, or the people here who have nothing but complaints?
If there is a reason QVC needs to listen to people here rather than actual customers, please let me know.
I'll wait...

True enough and along with several other important factors is a big reason I gave up and no longer watch more than a very occasional few minutes at a time.
And let's face it, most of these TSV's hardly make for compelling viewing during the first too long presentation...
