@BirdieGal-

I'm so glad it is something that he loves! That is really nice to hear.

The Flashpad and the glow in the dark track thingie are the two products they gear toward grandparent gift giving.  Not criticizing the products, just saying that if you listen to the presentations (if you can manage without barfing), you can see who their target audience is.

They had the Flashpad on several times during Christmas in July already this year.  They were really pushing the one where you get two and they compete with each other.  That one is weird since you must turn them head to head to they can "communicate" with each other -- a really bad design.

My 91 year old mother loves the regular ones I sent to her senior citizen center last year.  A group of eight still plays with them, to break up their crocheting and art class.

I bought one of those for my 5 year old granddaughter a few years ago and she played with it alot. Her Dad,my son, played with it too. Reminded him of the old Simon. No,it's not hi-tech but it can be fun for the little ones.

I know several little boys who love cars and those tracks that just go round and round.

How can you possibly say that "no kid wants a flash pad or a boring train that goes in a circle"?  If these were "dud toys" they would not be sold at the Q or any other retailer.  Sounds like a close-minded statement.

QVC sells nothing but overpriced  product  for the most part.

Then they charge outrageous shipping,

pack it terribly....

IF YOU EVER RECEIVED IT  it is damaged or the wrong thing...

then you send it back to exchange it for free

AND YOU GET CHARGED FOR THE EXCHANGE.

THE END

Re: Isn't it about time

[ Edited ]

Sure there's a few people that like it and some that even get the popcorn ready to watch the host and vendor challenge each other in a game....

But COME ON FOLKS...this thing has been on year after year after year...animated-smileys-rolleyes-10.gif I think that is what most of us are complaining about! it's taken on a life of it's own and become a not so inside customer joke!!

Someone said because it sells so well---do you know that for a fact?, How do you know its not because they have warehouse full of them and  there's an overstock and they can't get rid of them......And one person a few years ago said that she had returned several of them because they stopped working within a short time period....QVC probably thinks they are popular when some customers are just trying to find ONE that works for more than 30 days..........
