Hi everyone!
The issue today was related to audio completely shutting off. Part of our protocol when something like this happens is to switch over to previously recorded video. It took a few minutes for the engineers to locate the problem and get the live show back up.
I wanted to jump in and share because I did not want anyone to think something bad had happened to any of the QVC team. This abrupt change in the live show was not due to any health issues from our hosts or guests.
I hope this helps answer questions about what happend.

I still have questions. My screen was pixelated for several minutes during their video commercials. Why was the video "wonky" as someone said, if the problem (according tthe offical QVC spiel) was audio?

Hi @maximillian,
Very good question. The live team moved to the video because of a loss of audio for the live show. But you are correct, there was a different problem that arose with the video. I'm not sure why the video was "wonky" but I did see internal emails discussing the pixelated video that you experienced for several minutes. The audio and the pixelated video were unrelated problems that occured in that moment. Fortunately it appears the teams assigned to the problem were able to get the live show back on course within minutes. I'm not sure I answered your question, but wanted you to know the two issues were unrelated.

I'm going to put in the Suggestion Forum that they make Keyai head of QVC. The whole network would be much better off!
