Apparently there is only one other local news anchor who has worked longer in one spot.
I remembe him. Didn't know he was still there.

I rarely watch anymore. When I scan channels and I see her on, I stop. Not many originals left. Sad, because they described the products well, kept on target and were just a pleasure to watch. Good old days are gone.

MaryBeth is one of only 4 hosts that I watch. Very sorry she is leaving but wish her a happy retirement!.
I don't watch the yelling, over the top, immature, crass and crude hosts, nor the silly programming (meno mondays, 50 and fabulous) that go along with it. Going to miss her.

@Love my grandkids wrote:I used to get a kick out of her with Gary from Boyd's Bears. I wasn't interested in the product but they were fun to watch. He would sometimes say something a bit naughty, a double entendre that kids wouldn't catch, and you could SEE her blush on TV while she was laughing.
My home is filled with Boyds Bears, hundreds of them. I miss him and his bears since he sold the company. What a great twosone they made, just fun. She's a LADY for sure.
@HLP Oh, I have my fair share. They were so affordable too. I would purchase on every show.
Me too. I have pieces in every room, and 3 huge ceiling to floor cuboards filled. Thats what I do on snowy day, clean and read my bear sayings on the bottom. Wish I knew how to put pictures on here.My son went to a neighbors garage sale and bought me 5 I didn't have, but no boxes, of course they were lifted.
@HLP I bet your bear collection is lovely ! Here's how you can put pictures on here (it only takes about a minute or so and gets easier with practice.) :
1) Look at the toolbar when you post a comment on the QVC forums and you'll see a symbol that looks like mountains and a sun in a photo frame (It's two over from the happy face symbol)
2) click on the mountains in photo frame symbol
3) You'll see a white pop up screen and you click on "Image Choose File" then you'll look through your computer to find an image and once you click on an image in your computer, click "open" on the bottom right of your computer screen.
4) The image will show up in the QVC forum white pop up screen and you click the bubble for if you want it to be a public or hidden photo album
5) Final step- click the red "insert image" button on the QVC pop up screen. The image will show up in your forum post.

I think it's always a good decision to know when to go...some people never figure it out and end up being a diminished character of themselves. I've always enjoyed Mary Beth but sometimes, it's good to say thank you and move on. I wish her good luck. She seems to have a beautiful life to enjoy after QVC. Once again, I wish her good luck and all the best. She definitely deserves it.

Don't know if you read where she announced on air that she wanted to retire in August but they asked her to stay until next year. It was good of her to do that.
