I do not put stock in how QVC hosts introduce her.

Many used to introduce Leslie Blodgett as the inventor of Bare Esscentuals.  

We get the distinction, not sure why the hosts don't.

Lori has never hidden the fact that Scrub Daddy and the phone soap were somoene elses idea.  In fact usually she has them on with her or a video of them with her  when she is promoting those products.

I have never once heard her say those were her inventions.

She may have not said that she is the creator, but she never corrected the hosts over the years who introduce her as the creative genius that holds multiple patents. I dislike that the QVC hosts for a long time insinuated to unknowledgeable viewers that by holding patents Lori is the creator. It was by watching shark tank that I understood her business model. It’s only been the last few years with shark tank’s popularity that the hosts were more up front about Lori not being the inventor but the entrepreneur who brought the product to QVC. To be fair she may have tweaked a product once she bought into the business, so to that extent she may have had some creative input, but a “genius inventor” as Shawn has inroduced her, no. She is definitely a smart businesswoman.
