Insider E Edition a replacement for mailed magazine?

I received the e edition of the Insider in my inbox today...is this replacing the hard copy I receive in the mail? I called customer service and they didn't know. Any info out there? No indication one way or another in the e edition itself.

I haven't subscribed to the Insider for years. I think it should be free to longtime, regular customers. Like me!
