In processing for over a week

I ordered two things that have been processing for over a week.  One is denim and co. and the other is the roller to keep people from getting your information.

Re: In processing for over a week

I really am thinking they just don't have enough of their workers in.

In my case I sent a check for something (Egg Harbor) that has been on auto delivery. Was notified November 30 ,sent check next day December 1 today is December 9 and still see that they haven't  changed the status that check was received and it was only going from NY to PA,

Hope to see soon that check was received and eventually (lol) item was shipped otherwise  wonder what I will be making for husband and myself  for our Christmas and New Years eve dinners.

Re: In processing for over a week

Ordered the CuddleDuds pjs on November 28.  They were here in the Chicago post office but then sent to Bensenville, IL.  The latest notice:

Your package may be delayed. We are adjusting delivery plans.

In the meantime items I ordered from Macy's, HSN and Joann craft store on the same day as QVC arrived 4 days ago.

Re: In processing for over a week

I have had things in process for WAY over a week.

I have had things in Preparing your order for that long.

I have AD Croissants in process still for TWO months.

Whaddya gonna do?  It is what it is.

BUT it is NOT only QVC.

My Amz took ten days (Prime),

I have a Wayfair order going on 3 weeks,

an Ulta order placed two weeks ago that hasn't even shipped yet,

and the list goes on.

Re: In processing for over a week

I have had an order going from waitlist for 2 weeks to in process for 2 weeks to back to waitlist and now in the process again for days. This has been going on since November 2. I tried to get them to cancel the order because I contacted them today and they have no idea when it will it ship yet it sits in process and I can't cancel the order and they say they can't either. I feel I have been patient but at this time they should of just cancelled due to shipping problems with the vendor. But it is what it is. Hopefully it goes back on waitlist I will be able to cancel it.

Re: In processing for over a week

@Mimi NY, can I make a suggestion? Since there's a time delay waiting for checks to clear, have you thought of buying some QVC gift cards for your purchases? That way the order could begin being processed when the order is placed.

I often buy gift cards at my grocery store when I have extra money in my budget. I get perks towards my grocery account, plus know that whatever I order from the Q is already paid for.

Re: In processing for over a week

Me too ... "preparing your order" is listed on all my recent orders.

Guessing they are coming out of the California warehouse and they may doing some sort of combined carrier shipping thing to get a discount because anything that winds up shipping out of California is always the "delay" culprit in my orders.  I'm in New England and gone are the days that my orders arrived within a few days from the Pennsylvania warehouse.

While it doesn't affect purchasing of items for myself, it absolutely is a factor when I'm gift buying as QVC shipping times are now so very long and unpredictable.  So, if I have a deadline for a gift, I do not choose a QVC item.  Hope they read our comments and consider our feedback.

Just giving an update wrote this morning, and now see my check arrived, said processing , but  now it says  order is BACKORDER ,

Well now I have to hope that it arrives in time for our Christmas & New Year dinner ,if not maybe we will have a nice Valentine's dinner.

Re: In processing for over a week

So, update to my comments the other day ...

now, 2 of my orders placed on 12/6 (for "in stock") items have switched from "preparing your order" (status for 4 days) to "Backorder" today 12/10 ...

and one of those items was a Christmas gift I absolutely need ... that's why I don't buy deadline oriented gifts on QVC anymore.

Sooo disappointed.
