@manny2 - I read that thread. Couldn't believe some of the comments.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@Teddixat - ok, so why exactly did you think you needed to post that?  What does it add to the conversation other than to be intentionally cruel? Honest to goodness, I don't get the intentional cruelty here.

Unfortunately I do. There are posters here who are intentionally cruel to other posters, so of course cruel comments about the looks and weight of hosts are ok too.

Anonymity, or maybe they'd do that right to someone's face too.

Leah seems like a very nice person. She does have a nice calm vioice as well. However, I disagree with the statement  that she describes the garments well. She kkeeps repeating colors, but fails to fully describe in detail the garment itself and seldom talks about sizing.

@Greeneyedlady21 - and people come on here and say "there's no body shaming here on this thread.  We're giving criticism of the clothing or the presentations". Yeah, right.  It, sometimes, may not start out as body shaming, but it moves right to it and that post is a classic example.  Comments like that are hurtful and the posters don't seem to care.  All bets are off in the anonymous world of online posting.

How would they feel if they posted pictures of themselves and we all started in.  It boggles my mind that people would intentionally be cruel.

Right on!  Leah is class personified. Remember how deftly she handled the caller Rosalee from an island in South Jersey?

@Greeneyedlady21   @gidgetgh   I didn't say anything cruel about Leah,  I simply made an observation.   It's unfortunate you chose to interpret that in that way.

@gidgetgh    Guess what?   I really don't care if you're not satisfied with my original post and I stand by it because it's true whether you like it or not.  I'll be sure to monitor your future comments to see if you're one of the many here who do in fact say cruel things about hosts.

This thread is titled in praise of Leah, and you chose to post that it's too bad she has gained weight back and that it's "piling on". Her weight has zero to do with her performance as a host. So why the need to post your "observation"? As some sort of gotcha type putdown to Leah?

Your "observation" is cruel-do you tell your friends and family that their weight is "piling on"? Guess what, if it is they already know that and those "observations" are hurtful not helpful. Most humans struggle with weight, up and down and in other ways. Health issues, medications, depression that can cause weight gain or weight loss. And more.
