If you’re interested in an AS IS piece, be sure to check the NEW version of the same item...

Because a lot of the time the NEW item is on clearance and the price is comparable, if not less than, the AS IS price!

i noticed this just the other day!  i had found a cute top in the 'as is' section and i didn't care for the color ... and i somehow stumbled into the "new" section ... and there ya go!  same price and still available.   LOL.  didn't end up purchasing after reading reviews and understanding why there were so many "as is"
