Re: If QVC wanted your opinion...what would you decide?

Have to say--I really don't care----I don't watch much anymore and if I "think" I need something from QVC--I go to the website.

Re: If QVC wanted your opinion...what would you decide?

The only guest host that I really tune in to watch is on HSN, Curtis Stone. I love the tips and the way he presents his products, I always felt that way when Emeril and Rachael Ray were on QVC as well. They really presented the product as if I was in their kitchen and they were talking to me directly. Sadly this just doesn't seem to work as well with many other products, especially fashion.

Re: If QVC wanted your opinion...what would you decide?

I agree that the current premise of some of the shows when the Hosts start out talking to  another Host or Rep before saying Hello or Welcome in to the TV audience is just rude. If they can't acknowledge  their customers  then , it's a turn off.  Also, heard  Kristen , yell  " Hey " look at this at the TV audience . What disrespect  .

Vendors give point out  the positives on their items and give  many details never addressed by Hosts .

Hosts are a waste of time and  am sure their salaries & benefits  add to the QVC pricing .

I prefer HOSTS - with a vendor or without a vendor.

Beth Chandler and Angel Smedley come to mind as two of the vendors who stand alone very well.  But, I still prefer the presenations better when done along with a host.

I'll take a vendor over a host any day.

I'm soooooo over hosts' personal stories, childish behavior, competing for attention, medical talk, families, etc etc.

The hosts are fine. I think they only need an OAP if the details are too complicated for the host to explain. I do not need to see an OAP with clothing lines. There is nothing complicated about clothing. Also, there is no need for multiple hosts. They want to create an ‘experience’, I guess, but I am shopping, not looking for an experience.

@Bellajay    Definitely a vote for just vendors. Hosts (sometimes 2 hosts) and vendors and sometimes models, too become a talk fest/party that caused me to stop watching.

If vendors need a bit of coaching, it takes no more time than doiing it for new hosts.

@RescueLover .  I agree.  Vender shows alone are boring.  Much better when you have host/vender.

I like all the Q Vendors, but I must admit it’s kinda sorta boring when it’s just them presenting. 🥴

I agree but i think alot of the "dullness" is due to the way it is filmed, where it is filmed, and the fact that most of the Q live studio filming has other action going on....like live models, product demonstrations and ROOMS large enough to display items and give the vendors some room instead of looking like they are squeezed into a 8 X 10 bedroom ...i blame atomoshpere more

@kelsey17   I agree.

QVC must know this has effected sales.  I'm noticing more & more brand reps in solo shows while inside the QVC studio.  They just recently started doing this within the last two or three months.

The same brand reps that I could not watch in their boring Skype set-up, now have great studio shows.  Like you said, the ambiance is so much better, with proper lighting, an airy feeling, and crew assistance to get the items on display so you can see them properly.  The reps themselves are much more animated and personable in the studio as well.  It's such a big difference.

Temp-tations, Susan Graver, Logo, Attitudes by Renee, Quacker Factory, Denim & Co. -- I've seen multiple solo rep shows in the studio by these brands and they are just fine, even quite good.

Re: If QVC wanted your opinion...what would you decide?

Since I placed my post here about Host or Vendors, I have decided that some of the Vendors do a good job and others not so much, just like Hosts. But the other night, I watched for the first time in a very long time...Jane with Vendor from Clarks, it was brutal, the Vendor hardly could get a word in, and when she did, she did a really good job. Jane insisted on being in the limelight with her stories etc and she was really on a roll lol. Later this same Vendor was on QVC2 and was excellent with her presentation.

So a combo of Hosts and Vendors is OK with me. Mostly the TV is on mute anyway, unless it is someone I enjoy, not buying much anymore. I am out of debt and enjoy having money in my pocket and not using QVC card for various reasons.

Thanks to all that left posts and opionons.
