If QVC can deliver packages to me within 48 hours, why can't they do it all the time?

Thank you QVC for your super fast delivery of the item I purchased.

I didn't pay any extra shipping cost and yet I received my item within 48 hours from the time I ordered it. So why can't this service be extended throughout the year?
